GRB undertake all your gas work needs.

From attending leaks, to running new gas supplies, fitting hobs to issuing Gas Safety certificates – we are your local gas specialists.

It is advisable as a customer to make sure you know the whereabouts of your gas emergency control valve. If you smell gas, turn the valve to the off position and report this to your Gas Network Provider on 0800 111 999, a 24/7 organisation who will advise on the phone before attending the property.

Gas Network Providers must tend to any gas related emergencies. If the gas is turned off and controlled they will respond within 2 hours, if uncontrolled it must be within the hour.

Generally once you are made safe it is the homeowners responsibility to have the leak attended by a Gas Safe engineer. GRB can provide immediate service unless the leak can be traced with in 30 minutes, or if localised to the meter or their pipework the network provider will carry out a repair.

As well as dealing with emergencies we can carry out all manner of gas works, whether it be replacement gas hobs /cookers or gas fires and new supplies.

We also provide landlord and homeowner Gas Safety certificates, which can be viewed in detail in our Planned Maintenance section.

Our engineers are Gas Safe registered

a responsibility we take incredibly seriously.

Our engineers carry their Gas Safe cards ready for inspection.

The Gas Safety register is the official UK organisation, responsible for the registration and regulation of Gas engineers. Membership is mandatory for any company or engineer working with gas appliances. We have access to a large database of regulations and are compliant with all the latest industry standards.

Every gas engineer has to refresh their gas qualifications every 5 years to stay compliant and up to date. You can check any company and engineers membership on the gas safe website www.gassaferegister.co.uk or on 0800 408 5500.
